The champions of Azeroth, the defenders of Sanctuary and the Koprulu Sector, and the heroes of Overwatch and the Nexus are invited to a virtual celebration of community, creativity, 30 years of Blizzard gaming, and the decades of epic adventures yet to come at BlizzConline, coming February 20 and 21 to BlizzCon.com—and everyone can watch the full show completely FREE.

BlizzConline is an all-digital community event and exhibition of all things Blizzard, offering players around the globe a chance to connect in the online world while circumstances keep everyone from gathering in the real one. On two consecutive days and across six channels of programming, Blizzard developers will be sharing the latest game news with the world, and cosplayers, artists, and makeshift murlocs will be sharing their talents through events such as the Community Showcase. In addition, as Blizzard celebrates its 30th anniversary this February, players everywhere will have a chance to mark three decades of exploring epic games and universes together as they look forward to what the future holds for their friends, guildmates, and allies.

“We couldn’t let too much time go by without connecting with our community in the spirit of BlizzCon, and that’s what this show is all about—getting together with friends from around the world and celebrating the bonds and experiences we share through games,” said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re also excited to share some updates on what the teams have been working on—and while this won’t be the usual BlizzCon, the all-online format gives us a unique opportunity to shake things up a bit and create a show specifically for a community at home.”

Day one of BlizzConline will kick off at 6 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, with an opening segment that includes a first look at some of the latest game content now in development. Then for the next three-plus hours, players will have the option to tune in to one of six different themed channels digging deeper into the games they’re most interested in.

Day two will pick back up at 4 a.m. on Sunday, February 21, with multiple channels once again, until the event concludes later that afternoon. On this second day, Blizzard will be answering players’ questions through Q&A sessions and shining a spotlight on its global player community, including the winners and outstanding entries in the Community Showcase cosplay, movie, talent, and art contests and exhibitions.

Cyberpunk 2077 falls off after 7 weeks – Quick review by Calo Salud

It’s been seven weeks since Cyberpunk 2077 was released. Once the most hyped-up game that put a lot of people in excitement. It is an action-adventure, role-playing game with an open-world set up developed by CD Projekt Red.

You play as the main character, V. A mercenary outlaw in Night City set in a metropolis in the year 2077 where people are obsessed with power, glamour and body modifications.

Cyberpunk Compatibility

The game is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X. There is a great difference in performance on PS4 and Xbox One compared to the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077. The developer CD Projekt Red acknowledged this issue and offered a refund for those who are disappointed, nevertheless, they promised to provide patches and hotfix to the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 Commitement to Quality

Cyberpunk

Exploring the Night City will give you an immersive experience. By merely roaming around the game, you will surely notice that there’s so much detail allotted to the game.

I liked how they made the city populated of people with different style and culture per district. The density of the crowd when you roam is spectacular although it can be adjusted in the settings and it will still feel like crowded for some part of the city. However, not every place is filled with people walking but there’s a lot of interaction that can happen like the gangs doing what pleasures them. Overall, the people and what’s happening inside the game is making the city more alive without them it would feel empty.

Impressive as how it looks, the story is fascinating too. The game is actually having a lot to offer, there’s a good storyline and full of content even if you’re not doing the main quest. You can do many things throughout the Night City, choose your own skillset, playstyle and customize your character’s cyberware which gives V special abilities and different effects to its body that can be useful when engaging in combat or when exploring areas. Also, if you feel bored there’s still more and it is the game’s side quests that gives a whole new experience that’s unlikely to other games. Giving style to your character and managing the armour is a useful choice too. The combat style can vary depending on what you would like to happen, you can do stealth or just simply the gun blazing mode where you’ll be blasting anyone or slice those who stands in your way using your katana. Weapons can be customized through its functionality but not in aesthetics and can be improved over time as your perks and character build matches together.

Cyberpunk 2077 is similar to other games of Bethesda, Rockstar and Naughty Dog in terms of some mechanics, elements and style. In comparison to that CD Projekt Red gave us a different game experience which is nice to have and will keep you entertained.

In conclusion, Cyberpunk 2077 is really a great game developed by CD Projekt Red, although it has its own downside too like the bugs, glitches and some missing features. The bugs and glitches are frequently experienced just how the time I tried calling my vehicle then it just falls from the skyway just to come in my location. Weird and wonderful, most of these are minor bugs and glitches that can be often encountered and not really a game-breaking situation. Like what Keanu Reeves said in E3 2019, the game is truly “breathtaking”, for the game is story-wise and the visuals are astonishing indeed except to that braindance that has blinding flashes when it starts up.

Any thoughts about this game? Is it really worth it? Let us know in the comments!

Cyberpunk 2077 DMCA Strike despite disabling Copyright Music

Cyberpunk 2077 DMCA Strike

Cyberpunk 2077 reports of a bug in the game that puts DMCA strike for streamer and content creators despite the option of disabling Copyright Music being switched on. The developers report that until the fix is ready, any potential Twitch streamer must switch off all in-game music to avoid any strikes on their channel

Prior to the initial launched, Cyberpunk 2077 warned potential streamers on December 10, 2020 that a certain song during the game’s “Braindance” sequence may trigger Digital Millenium Copyright Act strikes despite the use of the in-game setting that toggles off copyright music for this exact reason.

The sequence Braindance is a memory replay in the game Cyberpunk 2077 which appears twice as a part of the main story. CD Projekt Red advises simply to switching off the sound during the Braindance portions of the game to avoid receiving DMCA strikes on the channel. Recent reports show that CDPR states that the issue may be bigger than they initially thought, and are now advising content creators to just switch off their in-game sound.

The quests to disable music for are the following:

      • Santo Domingo Race
      • City Centre Race
      • I Don’t Wanna Hear It, Off the Leash, Rebel! Rebel! (chain)
      • Human Nature, Tune Up, Epistrophy, Don’t Lose Your Mind (chain)

Hopefully the developers release a patch soon to remedy the issue because without it, any or all Twitch streams of Cyberpunk 2077 are likely to get copyright strikes.

Additionally, CDPR reports of an update on their EULA regarding epileptic triggers seen on in Cyberpunk 2077.

MU Lords : First MU Tournament announced by PlayPark

The continent of MU is about to shift once again as PlayPark Inc. takes the beloved MMORPG franchise to the next level. MU Lords is the first-ever international esports tournament event for MU and will not only cover the Philippines, but other countries as well like Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

“This is the first time an international esports event will happen to MU. This is a big part of MU’s history because we are finally able to tell the stories of our top players to a bigger audience. We have been coordinating with other participating countries to make sure the MU Lords is going to be an exciting experience for the whole community,” shared Dan Imperial, Product Manager for PlayPark MU.

Since it was relaunched in March 2020, PlayPark MU players have expressed great interest in  PvP tournaments to be able to test their skills and abilities against similar-minded opponents. In April, Arka War Blitz was launched, the opening salvo in a string of tournaments designed to prepare the MU community for greater challenges ahead. All of the preparation, grinding for better gear, and hundreds of matches have led to this. From December 2020 until January 2021, MU players and guilds will clash to determine who will represent the country and guild in MU Lords.

The MU Lords qualifiers will start on Sunday, December 6, 2020. There are four categories for MU Lords so that players at different character levels have a chance to participate and bring recognition and glory to their respective guilds. Over Php 300,000 worth of cash and in-game items are at stake for the MU Lord championship to be determined in the Playpark Allstar 2020 Championship in the first quarter of 2021.

All matches will be done online and will be streamed on the official PlayPark MU Facebook Page. Calling the action will be veteran MU casters and streamers KalboGaming and GhostCODEX. These gentlemen are no strangers to the MU community, as they regularly cast for Arka War, Tower of Power, and other weekly MU tournaments in the Philippines.

The first step in forging a new history for MU starts here. For interested participants, online registration is now open via this link (https://forum.playparkgames.net/mu/forum/22-sea/). For full tournament rules and regulations, check out the official MU Lords site (https://mu.playpark.com/en-sea/mu-lords/).
